So I made five, and rolled out the rest of the dough into a giant sheet and baked it. Okay, that was a bad pun.
So I filled two tall ramekins with pastry cream and a strawberry, sliced and fanned out, and one smaller ramekin with pastry cream and two fanned-out strawberries.
And then I took the cookies that I had broken up from that giant sheet and stuck pieces of it into all the ramekins.
Although all of the types were probably delicious, I think the scalloped-tartlet pans were adorable. I will definitely use them again.
For an ice cream maniac, I kind of like it. You probably get the picture. Pretty much, this is not as bad as it looks. Anyone who knows me knows I love barbecue.
But at most joints, they have banana pudding. A couple years ago, my Dad wanted perfect fluffy pancakes. So what did he do?
He made his own recipe for thick, fluffy, pancakes. I would take out the hand mixer and the little whisks and beat it. It was fun.
When I was six-ish, I had the dream of opening a bakery where my kids would eat whipped cream while I would do the, uh, baking. Cream is usually over whipped.
He slammed the door on them, and later heard that they continued all the way to Archet. The night before Frodo Baggins and his companions arrived another party of men came to the inn, travelling up the Greenway from the South.
On 29 September T. After supper in their room all except Merry went to the big common-room. It was here that " Mr.
Underhill " Frodo first met Strider and where the One Ring got onto his finger when he fell off of a table.
In the parlour of their rooms the hobbits met Strider, who eventually aided by Gandalf's letter that was now brought in by Barliman convinced Frodo that he was a friend who could guide them.
When they learned that Merry had seen a Black Rider within Bree they abandoned their lodgings and spent the night in Strider's room.
In the early hours of 30 September the Hobbits' room was attacked, although no one heard the intruders. There was a wide arch leading to a courtyard between the two wings, and on the left under the arch there was a large doorway reached by a few broad steps.
Above the arch there was a lamp, and beneath it swung a large signboard : a fat white pony reared up on its hind legs.
Inside was a large common room , several private parlours, and a number of bedrooms, including a few rooms in the north wing designed for Hobbits , that were low to the ground and had round windows.
The inn also had stables. Bucklanders from the Shire occasionally travelled to the inn. The art of smoking pipe-weed was said to have begun in Bree, and from The Prancing Pony it spread among the races of Middle-earth.
The inn was noted for its fine beer, once sampled by Gandalf. Butterbur was a fat, bald Man with a bad memory.
His family had kept the inn "from time beyond record". As with other Men of Bree, Butterbur's surname is taken from a plant —the herbaceous perennial Petasites hybridus.
Tolkien described the butterbur as "a fleshy plant with a heavy flower-head on a thick stalk, and very large leaves. The first was "a chance-meeting" of Gandalf and Thorin Oakenshield ; this meeting eventually led to the destruction of Smaug and far lighter casualties during the war in the northern theatre.
The second occurred during the journey of Frodo Baggins to Rivendell , when he and his companions stayed at The Prancing Pony for a night.
The minor villain Bill Ferny and a squint-eyed Southerner saw him vanish, and informed the Black Riders, who attacked the inn.
Aragorn saved him and led the party away. Butterbur delivered a letter from Gandalf which he had forgotten to deliver months earlier.
